DMU monoBLOCK Milling Machines: A Global Success Story in Machining Tools
With over 6,000 milling machines delivered worldwide, the monoBLOCK series is one of the most successful machining tools in the industry, setting new standards in 5-axis CNC machining. We have been producing these versatile machines at our Pfronten site for more than 12 years. Customers in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, consumer products, and others that use the principles of precision engineering, rely on the accuracy and flexibility of the monoBLOCK series. Its biggest fan base, and the backbone of our industry, are contract manufacturers who appreciate the machine's adaptability to rapidly changing requirements.
In the second generation, we have improved the monoBLOCK universal milling machine, taking into account valuable customer feedback. The improved, fully cooled, direct-drive feed drives provide excellent surface quality and positioning accuracy of 4 µm, even during extended operation.
The exceptional ergonomics, whether in stand-alone or automated operation, also remain unchanged. Easy access to the work area, automation and tool magazine from the front provides seamless efficiency.
With the new CELOS X control platform, the monoBLOCK secures its future with paperless manufacturing capabilities directly at the machine's control panel.
