Jongen presents the step milling programme of the indexable insert type B17 for machine-friendly operations with maximum productivity and precision. The application areas for this tool type are step-free shoulder milling, 3-D milling, full slot milling, etc. The tools are available in different versions to ensure maximum flexibility: • as shell type version in standard and close pitch, diameter range 32-125 mm • as shank type version, made to DIN1835-B in standard and close pitch, diameter range 20-40 mm • as shank type version made to DIN1835-A, long version, diameter range 16-32 mm • as screw-in type version for machining large cavities, diameter range 20-40 mm • as multi-tooth cutter - shank type - made to DIN1835-B, diameter range 20-32 mm and - shell type - diameter range 40-63 mm. All tools include internal coolant passages. The insert This 2-edge step milling insert reaches a depth of cut ap of up to 10 mm. The sales programme includes precision sintered, as well as ground inserts, with different edge radii. Almost all usual materials can be processed, beginning from the aluminium processing, cast iron and steel, over to materials with difficult machining characteristics.

Jongen UNI-MILL VHM 441W Ti08 für die Edelstahl-Bearbeitung Vollhartmetallfräser der bezüglich Schneidstoff und Geometrie perfekt an die Bearbeitung von rostfreien Materialien und Sonderlegierungen angepasst ist. Die Macrogeometrie ist speziell auf die Bearbeitung von schwer zerspanbaren Materialien angepasst. Eine Eckenfase sorgt für eine hohe Kantenstabilität, der dynamische Drallwinkel und die ungleich geteilten Zähnen erzeugen eine hohe Laufruhe und eine hervorragende Oberflächengüte. Die Torus-Fräser sind zum Schruppen und Schlichten gleichermaßen geeignet. Durch die über Mitte angelegten Schneiden sind die Werkzeuge auch zum Tauchen geeignet. Der Spanabfluss ist durch optimierte Spanräume sehr gut. Die ebenfalls speziell angepasste Microgeometrie ermöglicht höchste Standwege und eine lange Lebensdauer der Werkzeuge. Der Schneidstoff Ti08 besteht aus Feinstkorn-Hartmetall im Iso-Bereich K20, der sich durch hohe Zähigkeit bei gleichzeitig hoher Verschleißfestigkeit auszeichnet – die TiALN/TiALSiN-Beschichtung ihrerseits steht für feinste Schichtstruktur und hohe Oxidationsbeständigkeit. Diese Kombination aus Hartmetall und Beschichtung ist für die Hochleistungszerspanung bestens geeignet und lässt sich sowohl für Nass- und Trockenbearbeitung als auch für eine Bearbeitung mit Minimalschmierung einsetzen. Der Aufnahmeschaft ist wahlweise nach DIN 6535-HB (Weldon), oder nach DIN 6535-HA (Glattschaft) ausgeführt und sorgt für eine stabile Aufnahme des Werkzeugs. Als Produktergänzung, neben dem 441 mit kleiner Eckenfase, dienen die VHM 441 W R Ti08 mit Eckenradien von 0,3 bis 4,0mm. Die Fräser sind in den Durchmesserbereichen von 3 bis 20mm erhältlich.

High Performance Roughing End Mills Jongen UNI-MILL .46/.47 These high performance tools are mainly characterized by their long tool lives and a considerable creation of chip volume for roughing operations. High operating parameters can be adopted with these tools and in comparison to smoothly toothed end mills, these knurled toothed end mills offer an high level of process reliability and an extraordinary smooth machining manner. By the optimized micro and macro geometries, oscillations of cutting forces are reduced and in addition, the chip evacuation is optimized. In combination with the extremly high wear resistance of the tool, production processes are predictable beforehand and are also reproducible, which grants an high stabilization of the milling process. These solid carbide end mills are available in short and long version and allow areas of application as full slot milling, contour milling, plunge milling and helix milling. Furthermore these tools can be used for almost all materials up to 55 HRC, thus they are extremly versatile.
