HFO Chicago customer Complexus Medical, of Mishawaka Indiana, recently purchased 4 Haas VF-4SS VMCs and TR to make tight-tolerance medical parts. Previously Complexus had been making the parts on a Mill-Turn, but found that the faster tool change times of the VF-4SS, and the ability to mount two 6" vises and a Haas trunnion to the table, gave them more flexibility and a shorter cycle time.
