Option 1- Turning Finishing
ISOTURN
Based on accumulated experience with our current ISO TURN line, ISCAR has started the process of designing new chipformers which, together with the most advanced SUMOTEC grades, provide higher productivity, tool life and performance reliability. The new inserts already carry more systematic designations in order to facilitate insert selection by the end-user. The F3P chipbreaker has positive rake angles for smooth cutting, reduced cutting forces and insert wear, leading to dramatically increased tool life. The machining application area is 0.40 - 2.0 mm D.O.C. and
0.05 - 0.25 mm/rev feed.

Option 2 - Turning Finishing
SUMO-CHAM
WG chipformer shorten finishing time by using higher feeds while giving
the same or better performance. In many cases this chipbreaker
can eliminate grinding
Polished rake to N2 class (Ra = 0.07 µm) for better chip flow.
WF chipbreaker designed for super-finishing on soft and gummy materials.
* Sharp cutting edges to reduce cutting forces.
* Back turning enabled for reducing cycle time.
* Small corner radius of 0.05 mm.
A wiper geometry for machining at high feed, leaving high surface finish. Left- and right-hand inserts.
Option 3 -Turning Finishing
SUMO-CHAM
WNGA inserts with High speed, roughing and finish machining of typical automotive parts
Higher cutting speeds, when compared to SiN based ceramic grades.
Can be used for both wet and dry machining
