New Highly Advanced Parting System for Square TANG-GRIP TGAQ-ECD Adapters fit into a JET CROWN clamping device for Effective High-Pressure Coolant Flow ISCAR recently introduced a highly advanced parting system for square TANG-GRIP adapters with two coolant holes for effective high-pressure coolant flow. This new parting system features square adapters that fit onto a unique crown clamping mechanism with a single screw for fast clamping and indexing. The crown jaws clamp the adapter close to the insert. There are two effective coolant holes with top and bottom outlets to output ultra-high pressure up to 340 bars. Another advantage of this unique parting system is the no setup time after blade or pocket indexing. The system was designed to be used next to the spindle or next to a shoulder as the square adapter and tool shank align with no protrusions. There are economical adapters with 4 pockets for TANG GRIP 2, 3 and 4mm width inserts. The new square adapter is suitable for all TANG-GRIP inserts, including high feed inserts that were designed for higher productivity. The extremely stable system improves surface quality and part straightness during parting and grooving operations. Several adapters can be clamped onto one tool block, although it’s important to note that a separate crown is required for each insert width. The tool is available for Parting up to an 82mm bar diameter.
