The new unique geometry design significantly improves productivity and machining stability under high cutting conditions, especially cast iron. The unique edge geometry enables high machining stability which assures reduced cutting load and minimizes heat generated during the machining operation. Coolant-thorough is another important feature in this process. ISCAR’s 3 Flute Solid Carbide Drill with internal coolant channels enables excellent hole precision with superior self-centering and is suitable for steel and cast iron. The diameter of the drill ranges from 4.0-12.0mm or 0.157"-0.472" with drilling depths of 3XD and 5XD. The 3-flute drill was proven to perform 1.5 times faster when compared to 2 flutes.
