Finish Face Milling Titanium

In this clip we can see a challenging finishing face milling application, which is performed successfully dry, even in titanium. The customer had high demands in surface finish, they didn’t want to use coolant, and the machine had low power absorption. By using a Ø125 mm cutter with positive inserts and a dedicated grade, Seco Tools managed to achieve an impressive surface finish of 0.3 µm. Discover more on https://www.secotools.com/
