Finish Inner Grooving TANGRIP PARTING ISCAR's SUMO-GRIP single-ended insert for heavy grooving and turning applications is based on the very successful TANG-GRIP family. The SUMO-GRIP insert is clamped in the pocket in tangential orientation with rigid and secure clamping, which enables machining at high feed rates. The SUMO-GRIP system design allows easy chip evacuation due to removal of the tool upper jaw feature. SUMO-GRIP is commonly used to machine large diameter parts and heavy interrupted cut applications.
