Manufacturing Automation with DMG MORI Automation Solutions: Success Story Lindner- Recyclingtech

Since 1948, Lindner-Recyclingtech GmbH has been making a significant contribution to the Circular Economy as a specialist in shredding and holistic waste processing solutions. Their customers are recycling companies as well as cement manufacturers who use shredded waste as fuel. At the site in Upper Carinthia in Austria, the shortage of skilled workers is clearly noticeable: there are not enough machine operators who are familiar with CNC turning and milling who are also willing to work the night shift. Thus, the only way to grow and maintain 24/7 operations was to automate production. When introducing manufacturing automation, a coherent concept was important to Lindner. In addition, the company wanted an automation solution from a single source as well as a turnkey solution that would enable unmanned operation. DMG MORI responded to Lindner's wishes and convinced the company with an automation solution consisting of two DMU 80 P duoBLOCK machining centers with a combined pallet- and workpiece handling solution WH Flex, thus enabling Lindner-Recyclingtech to manufacture the shredder components in a highly productive manner. ➡ https://www.lindner.com ⭐Follow us⭐ ➡Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dmgmori ➡Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dmgmori ➡LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/dmgmori ➡Twitter: https://twitter.com/dmgmori ➡Website: https://www.dmgmori.com ➡ DMG MORI Events: https://event.dmgmori.com #dmgmori #manufacturingautomation #industrieautomation #weloveautomation

Blog article: » Data really is the future. Find out more about the fascinating concept of massive engineering data analytics. Exploring massive engineering data analytics with Ian McGann (Series 2 Episode 1) - Siemens Software Podcast Network: https://sie.ag/3pkQJrD ▶️ About Simcenter: Engineering departments today must develop smart products that integrate mechanical functions with electronics and controls, utilize new materials and manufacturing methods and deliver new designs within ever shorter design cycles. This requires current engineering practices for product performance verification to evolve into a Digital Twin approach, which enables us to follow a more predictive process for systems-driven product development. Simcenter™ software uniquely combines system simulation, 3D CAE and test, to help you predict performance across all critical attributes earlier and throughout the entire product lifecycle. By combining physics-based simulations with insights gained from data analytics, Simcenter helps you optimize design and deliver innovations faster and with greater confidence.

Engineer Innovation podcast | Rethinking fuel for industrial thermal systems

⛽In the latest episode of the Engineer Innovation podcast, it’s time to tackle one of the most important and pressing issues of the day – fossil fuels. How can industrial thermal systems use their fuel more efficiently and switch to new fuels, and what does the future hold? We’re joined by Guy de Carufel (https://sie.ag/3HVOVMp) and Eric Duplain (https://sie.ag/3MlLSjf ) at BMA. They have devoted their entire careers to exploring this topic — working to help industrial thermal systems optimize their existing fuel practices as well as to make the transition to newer and better fuel types. We talk about what the future looks like in general, including some of the fuels that are most likely to replace traditional energy sources, with an emphasis on the urgency of acting fast.
