What's New GOM Software 2018: Augmented Reality is a technology that superimposes virtual data on a user's view of the real world. Head-up displays in cars are application examples for Augmented Reality. In 3D Metrology, Augmented Reality is used to superimpose inspection results directly on real objects. You can view the inspections on a tablet with an integrated camera or another mobile device with an external webcam, for example during audits.
