B500-1M BTA Drilling Machine Operation Overview

The B500-1M BTA drilling machine allows manufacturers to go beyond the reach of typical CNC turning centers. Configured with a rotating workpiece, the machine is capable of drilling accurate, large diameter holes in difficult materials from 0.75 - 6.3 in (20 - 160 mm) and depths 10 - 40 in (250 - 1,000 mm). A non-rotating tool makes changeovers easy, limiting downtime. The machine is constructed with a CNC controller onto a compact footprint and can include pneumatic chucks for automatic clamping.
