Shaft Measuring Machine WMM 300 – Schneider Messtechnik

The integrated shaft measuring machine WMM300 is continuously on duty in the Swiss company “Gewinde Ziegler AG”. The WMM series offers a wide variety of features and benefits. The measurement range of this model covers length of up to 300mm and diameters of up to 80mm. With other models length of up to 1200mm and diameters of up to 400mm can be measured. At the heart of this extremely fast measuring technology this is sophisticated acquisition process which is triggered by the live images of the work piece capture by ultra high resolution CCD Matrix camera. The focus mechanism is adjustable to ensure sharp contours even of the center axis and allows highly accurate and precise measurement of length, diameters and mini features in both transmitted and incident light. The Teach-in-programming feature of the WMM series allows easy operation of the machine. Tabular and graphical measurement reports, as well as fist sample test reports in accordance with VDA (Association of the German Automotive Industry) are generated automatically.
