Eliminating Circle Milling Process for Improved Cycle Time on MCC2013-VG

Tooling used for this demonstration was manufactured by Komet. The drilling process was performed at 1,220 RPM with a feedrate of 220 mm/min to a depth of 160mm. This was followed by reaming at 200 RPM with a 200mm/min feedrate to a depth of 150mm. While this type of hole feature is most commonly produced using circle milling processes, the power and rigidity of the MCC2013-VG enable manufacturers to drill and ream the feature faster and more efficiently.
