PH-AMR Automated Guided Vehicle for Autonomous Pallet Handling | Husky Technologies

At Husky Technologies, DMG MORI’s PH-AMR (formerly known as PH-AGV) automated guided vehicle enables fully autonomous loading and unloading of three DMC 160 U machining centers, which are also fully automated with tooling. The AMR robot transports components weighing up to 4,000 kg (without pallet) from a remote warehouse to the machine and loads them directly onto the pallet changer. While moving through the normal production environment at speeds of up to 6 km/h, the self-driving vehicle must also interact with passers-by. Safety is ensured by a laser that scans the environment in the direction of travel. If there is an obstacle in the vicinity, the automated pallet mover will slow down or stop in time.
