Effizientes 5-Achs Laserbohren für Aerospace und industrielle Gasindusturbinen (IGT) – Die LASERTEC PowerDrill Baureihe von DMG MORI setzt Maßstäbe! Mit den Modellen der LASERTEC PowerDrill-Baureihe bietet DMG MORI eine schnelle und effiziente Lösung für die Herstellung von Kühlluftbohrungen in Turbinenkomponenten aus den Bereichen Aerospace und industrielle Gasturbinen (IGT) an. Die Maschinenversion PowerShape ermöglicht die Bearbeitung von geformten Lochgeometrien für konische Austrittstrichter (Shaped Holes). Das 5-Achs-Laserbohren von Turbinenkomponenten wie Turbinen-Leit- / Laufschaufeln, Kombustoren und Brennkammern hat sich über die Jahre durchgesetzt. Die Erzeugung von Kühlluftbohrungen erfolgt dabei mittels Perkussieren, Trepanieren oder Drilling on the fly (Bohren bei rotierendem Werkstück). DMG MORI hält im Maschinenportfolio dafür die LASERTEC 50 PowerDrill, LASERTEC 100 PowerDrill und LASERTEC 160 PowerDrill bereit. Somit ist für jede Bauteilgröße das passende PowerDrill / PowerShape Maschinenkonzept vorhanden. Je nach Anwendung sind die LASERTEC PowerDrill Maschinen erhältlich mit 9 kW bis 23 kW Faserlaser. Hochmoderne Funktionen wie eine variable Kollimation, Durchschusserkennung, kapazitive Abstandssensoren oder optionale Werkzeugwechsler runden die Maschinenkonzepte ab. Spezielle PowerDrill-Softwaretools ermöglichen die komfortable Programmierung und das Bearbeiten komplexer Bauteile. Open House Pfronten 2023 Two weeks of innovative technologies for sustainable manufacturing - that was our Open House in Pfronten from 30.01.-03.02. and 06.-11.02.2023. Process integration, automation, digitization and sustainability: These were the main themes for holistic solutions in CNC machine tool manufacturing this year. With 14 autonomous manufacturing solutions from a total of 28 exhibited CNC machines from all technology areas, visitors were able to experience this claim first-hand. One of the highlights was the CTS (Central Tool Storage), a central tool magazine that enables automated tool supply by means of a transport shuttle. There were also separate focus areas for the medical and aerospace sectors. On 4000 sqm exhibition space was a lot of space for world premieres, highlights, seminars as well as for the important exchange with customers, visitors and partners. - In the field of 5-axis simultaneous milling machines, several world premieres were presented: the DMU 40, the second generations of the DMU 65 and the DMU 75 monoBLOCK, and finally the DMF 300|11. - Another world premiere among the lathes: the CTX 350, which combines the best from the previous CLX and CTX alpha series. - For the entry into universal turning, visitors could see the T1, the T2 and the 3-axis M2 as the big sister model of the M1 in action. In industrial tool and die making, specific market needs oftentimes lead to innovation. And this is how one of our partners, Polish tool manufacturer ITA TOOLS SP.ZO.O., introduced laser ablation technology in tool and die making for the woodworking industry. "People and passion for work" - this is the philosophy of Polish tool manufacturing company ITA TOOLS SP.ZO.O. The Polish company is known as high quality tool and die maker for the woodworking industry and is always open to new ideas. Together with DMG MORI, they decided to introduce laser ablation technology for the woodworking market as well, and to apply it to larger machines such as the LASERTEC 50 PrecisionTool. The reason: ITA TOOLS needs to machine tools with dimensions of more than 200 mm. So, together with DMG MORI, ITA TOOLS has added a LASERTEC 50 PrecisionTool with automation beside the existing machine LASERTEC 20 PrecisionTool and can now offer tools with diameters of up to 355 mm. ITA TOOLS can thus achieve better quality and tool life than without this technology. However, the cooperation with DMG MORI is not limited to machines, because ITA TOOLS also receives support from the technicians as well as in maintenance. The company also uses milling machines and lathes from DMG MORI for housing production. Mit über 1200 hochkarätigen Ausstellern aus Maschinenbau und metallverarbeitender Industrie und rund 64.000 Besuchern drehte sich auf der internationalen Fachmesse einmal mehr alles um Innovationen in der Metallbearbeitung: Industrie 4.0, Digitalisierung, Automatisierung und Nachhaltigkeit. Mit 22 unserer CNC-Fräs- und Drehmaschinen sowie zehn unserer leistungsstärksten Automatisierungslösungen konnten wir vor Ort Einblicke geben in die Zukunft der Fertigungsautomatisierung. Ein ganz besonderes Ereignis war für uns die Weltpremiere des PH Cell Twin - dem modularen und kompakten Paletten-Handling für zwei Maschinen, das bis zu 21 Paletten handhaben kann. Aber auch der Robo2Go MAX, der RPS 14 oder der MATRIS light waren zu sehen, zusammen mit DMG MORI 5-Achs-Bearbeitungszentren, Lasertec-Maschinen und anderen.
