ISCAR introduces Ultra-Precise ER11 Collets to Compliment High Speed SpinJet Spindles with Small Diameter Cutting Tools. For small cutting tools the runout-tool diameter ratio is especially important. The cutting depth is measured in microns. Each deviation can have a crucial influence on the cutter’s performance and tool life. The ultra-precise collets feature a non-collapsible 12 slot design suitable for use with any ER11 collet chuck. The new ER-AAA collets provide higher accuracy and consistent repeatability. AAA grade: Runout accuracy of 0.002 mm / 0.0001 inches The new ER-AAA collets comply with ISCAR’s high standards of finishing.
